Samma Karuna, Version 1.1, March 2019

Abstract: Procedure to follow in order to accept or deny application to teach at the school for workshops, regular events and halls rental.

Author: Ishi

Audience: Events Manager

What is it?

  1. Is it an activity of self-development?
    1. Yes (continue)
    2. No (deny application)
  • Is it Tantra, Tao-Tantra or Tantra alike energy?
    • Yes
      • Keep in mind only Tantra teachers teaching at the Tantra TTC can facilitate Tantra classes or workshops unless they are specially authorized by Ishi.
    • Is it Satsang?
      • We don’t run events with the name “Satsang” (meeting with the Truth) as Samma Karuna is a non-dogmatic school. Still facilitators are invited to share their wisdom as far as they share their own experience without labeling it as “The Truth”.
      • Please remain the facilitator about our guidelines on Non-Dogmatic teachings.
  • Does this activity includes massage?
    • Yes (deny application)
      • We do not offer activities based on massage
  • Is it a hall rental?
    • We do not rent halls to any facilitator that has run regular activities on the school. A facilitator can abuse by persuade SK students to take their workshop and in this way don’t provide a fair monetary exchange.
    • We only rent halls to facilitators that come with their own students (usually from overseas) without providing any kind of extra Marketing Support.

Why this facilitator would like to teach at the school?

  • As a guideline, we only accept external facilitators to teach at SK if they will be offering a workshop at the school unless they are specially authorized by Ishi.

  • Only SK Senior teachers can offer regular activities without having a workshop linked to them.

You will need to find out:

  • Is he offering this activity somewhere else?
    • Is he organizing a workshop for this activity somewhere else?

If the facilitator is offering a workshop somewhere else for that activity you should reject the application to teach regular classes at the school.
