How to process ordinary volunteering applications

You should decide whether to accept the application or reject it based on the attached form in the email that has been completed by the student.

Availability

There is always volunteering space for regular volunteers available, unless we inform you that volunteering for certain dates is no longer available.

How to analyze the application form

You should be attentive to the application questions that are listed below in order to define weather this person is suitable for volunteering or not.

• Motivation: Should be a noble motivation to volunteer.
• Should have a self-development practice or a very noble motivation
• Should have answer is physically and mentally healthy.
• If the volunteer is already in Koh Phangan, should be FIRST ENTRANCE in the island (30 to 45 days in the island maximum).
• The volunteer should not have any addictions, or free of addictions in the last year.
• The volunteer should apply at least 10 days in advance from the starting date, otherwise just reply the application informing the applicant the next available dates.
  
• As new requirement from 15 of October 2019 volunteers should pass as well an online exam to be considered for volunteering.

How to know if a volunteer pass the online exam?

• You should get an email once a day from noreply@easytestmaker.com with the subject: “Your EasyTestMaker test results summary” with the scores of the volunteer that completed the test that day.
  
  
• Alternatively you can connect to https://easytestmaker.com/User with username: sammakaruna and password: qw6324865 and check the score there.

If volunteer not approved reply with Template nro. 4

If volunteer approved:

• Reply with Template number 3 and attached volunteers manual to the application.

Note: From 7^th of January 2020, all arrivals both of volunteers and student are automatically placed in Google Calendar “Upcoming Students & Volunteer”.

Important note: You should not accept volunteer paying to stay in bungalows or in A/C dorms between 15^th of December and 1^st of March.
