Audience: Welcome Center staff

Abstract: The following KB article explains the series of steps required for you to issue a certificate on behalf of Samma Karuna. Welcome Center staff is in charge of this process.

Pre-preparation

Important note:
Students that approved both for YTTC or TTTC courses but did not finish their volunteering yet will be issue a certificate of participation until they both have approved and finished their volunteering duties.

You need to have printed out in a professional printing shop blank certificates of that course you want to issue certificates:

Examples:

This is how a blank YTTC certificate may look like: <Example YTTC>

This is how a blank TTTC certificate may look like: <Example TTTC>

This is how a blank YTTC certificate of participation may look like: <Example participation YTTC>

This is how a blank TTTC certificate of participation may look like: <Example participation TTTC>

You may need to modify the name of the teacher that issues the certificate. Provide to the printing shop the file with extension .PSD (no the one with .jpg) so, it will be easier for them to modify the name of the teacher. The PSD files with the graphics designs of the blank certificates are located at:  <Google Drive>\Samma Karuna\Know how shared\Repository (form, contacts..etc)\Certificates

Procedure:

  1. Confirm with the teacher the list of students that approved
  2. Confirm with students their name is correctly written
  3. Write down the name of the student on the “Official Certifications – Samma Karuna” spreadsheet located at: <Google Drive>\Samma Karuna\Know how shared\Repository (form, contacts..etc)\Certificates
  4.  Open the template files of the type of course you will like to print
    • Template files are in PowerPoint format and help you to print over a blank certificate, just in the right location where the name of the student, date and certificate number should be. Template files are located inside the same folder mentioned above.
  5. Write down the name of the student and the other required information on the template file.
  6. Place a blank certificate on the printer and print it out.
  7. Enjoy the process 😉
