Abstract: This document describes  the policy for holiday and visa-run benefits for Samma Karuna staff members

Holidays

  • Every Samma Karuna staff member is entitle to 21 days paid holiday per year unless specified otherwise in their working agreement.

  • Members of the Samma Karuna Management can take up to 5 extra days a year without payment.

  • Only one member of staff is allowed to take holiday at the same time. Holiday approval is based on a first come, first served principle

    It is the responsibility of the staff member to submit  holidays requests at least 30 days in advance.

Holiday requests within 30 calendar days might not be approved. Any holiday requests days taken within 30 calendar days will be counted double.

  • All holidays are subjected to approval by the Samma Karuna Management Team. Holidays during high season or during TTT/YTT or Special Events course may not be approved.

  • Members of staff can choose to take up to 15 days holidays in cash

  • Any member of staff leaving for holiday is responsible to train a replacement before leaving.


                

Visa run

  • The school will pay up to 3 days of salary for visa-runs, any extra days taken will be deducted from the paid holidays allowance.

  • 300 baht/day allowance to accommodation
  • The school may cover the cost of the visa application fee at the Thai Embassy.
