Discounts to students for Workshops

Audience: Welcome Center, bookings and Events staff.

Abstract: This document describes the Discounts Schema for Students, Volunteers, Teachers, and lifetime members applied to workshops.

This discount scheme is a guideline for giving appropriate discounts to our students based on their status.

Volunteers:

• Volunteers currently volunteering at Samma Karuna get 20% Discount from the workshops.
• Ex-volunteers who have volunteered with us within the past 1 month get a 20% Discount from the workshops.

A&H Students:

• Life members are not entitled to discounts.
• Awakening & Healing students currently staying inside the campus are entitled to a 10% discount.
• Awakening & Healing students (no life members) are entitled to a complimentary day pass for each day the workshop takes place and can be used within a year.

Teachers:

• Teachers who are teaching at Samma Karuna get a 20% Discount from the workshop upon approval by the organizer teacher.

Staff Members:

• Samma Karuna staff members (resident teachers, managers, and welcome centre team) get 40% discount on workshops.
• An extra discount may be negotiated with the teacher.
