Abstract: This document describes the directives for the Events Manager of the school on how to accept workshop/events and on which conditions.

Audience: Events Manager

Directives:

Events/Workshops not allowed at the school

  • Any workshop that can compete with the local community such as Thai language or Massage workshops of any kind are not allowed at the school.
  • Any workshop that preaches a dogma is not allowed at the school.
  • Any workshop that is not focused clearly on self-development

Guidance

  • Any teacher that teaches regular events at the school has to sign the code of ethics of the school where its specified that he cannot promote any activity (run by him or other person) among the his students without a written authorization of the events manager (usually an email).
  • Any new facilitator joining us to facilitate regular events at the school should (ideally) have as well a regular workshop run. It’s the responsibility of the events manager to encourage teachers on this direction.

Dates

Two workshops should not run on the same dates or overlap (it doesn’t matter if they are or not based on similar energies/subjects).

Follow the guidelines “How to set a date for a workshop – Samma Karuna” document to set dates for a workshop.

Between 2 workshops that should run on similar dates the events manager will prioritize the one that is more profitable for the school.

Flyers

All flyers have to follow Samma Karuna guidance and type of letter and be approved by the Events Manager before being printed.

Demos

Demos should be scheduled at 12:30pm or 1:30pm.

Faculties of the Events Manager:

The events manager is entitle to fully organize any workshop up to 4 days long and USD 500 cost per student without the authorization of the director of the school.

Scheduling

Regular workshops/courses such as Reiki and YTTC should be scheduled up to 6 months in advance.

Flyer should be print out for the upcoming workshop and the next one to it so as soon as one workshop starts all flyers are replaced with the upcoming one.
