Description: The following document describes the general template used by the school to organize course logistics during a long-term course organized by Samma Karuna abroad.
6:00am Walk up students with the bell passing by all their rooms. (Bell keeper)
6:05am Turn-on heater in the hall where the morning meditation will take place and set up the place according to the coordinator instructions (Helpers)
6:10am Once more, walk up students with the bell passing by all their rooms. (Bell keeper)
6:15am Thermal scans of every student arriving to Dynamic meditation (Coordinators)
If you register any student with 37.1C temperature or higher this person and his roommate should be isolated from the rest of the group until a more extensive health evaluation will be performed.
6:20am Once more, walk up students with the bell passing by all their rooms. (Bell keeper)
6:25am Ensure all students are coming for morning meditation (Coordinators)
You will have to knock on a student’s door if he/she does not show up.
“Sunsine!.. you are late for meditation!”
All students should come, even if some arrive late.
6:30am Send a text message to the meditation teacher with the name of the students that did not come to meditation.
6:35am Take Morning meditation, sitting on a mat close by the entrance door (optional task)
7:00am Confirm breakfast is being prepare (Coordinators)
8:15am For both halls: Start heating system, setup mats, cushions and bring tea and water from the kitchen. (Helpers)
9:10am to 10:10am Optional attendance to Tantra Theory class.
12:30pm Confirm kitchen staff is getting ready to warm-up brunch (Coordinators)
1:00pm Lunch is served (officially lunch is served 1:30pm)
Check-up halls as class finished.
Ensure heating and lights are off, cushions in order..etc. (Helpers)
1:00pm – 2:00pm Being physically present at the lunch area for students inquires. (Coordinators)
1:30pm Confirm students & teacher attendance for daily 1-to-1 meetings (Coordinator)
2:40pm For both halls: Setup mats, cushions and confirm kitchen staff brings water lemon and tea to the refreshment area of each hall. (Helpers)
2:40pm Ring the bell around the resort so students start coming back to class. (Bell keeper)
2:40pm Thermal scans of the students as they arrive to class (coordinators)
2:50pm Once more, ring the bell around the resort so students start coming back to class. (Bell keeper)
2:55pm Confirm all students are back to class (same procedure like in the morning) (Coordinators)
3:40pm – 4:40pm Optional attendance to Tantra or Breathwork theory class (Coordinators)
7:00pm Confirm catering service is warming up/bringing dinner
7:20pm Confirm dinner is served (officially dinner is servied 7:45pm)
Check-up both halls as class finishes. (Helpers)
Ensure heating and lights are off, cushions in order..etc.
7:30pm Being physically present at the dinner area for students inquires. (Coordinators)
9:00pm – 10pm Evening activity (optional for students)
